GoGoProp: a lending portal for a UK specialist property lender

FIELDPORTER designed and built GoGoProp's Phase 1 lending portal: one system where staff, borrowers and brokers move a deal from online enquiry to decision in principle, full application and identity checks. GoGoProp is the lender. FIELDPORTER builds the software.

The problem

GoGoProp's early deal workflow lived in general CRM tooling. There was no single place where staff, borrowers and brokers could work on the same deal, from the first enquiry through to identity checks. Details were re-keyed between tools, and borrowers had no clear view of where their application was up to.

What we built

  • Branded online enquiry and status tracking for borrowers.
  • One portal for borrowers and brokers, with several deals per user and introducers linked to a deal by email.
  • A staff deal pipeline and a deal workspace for each application.
  • Property data checks and valuation support inside the deal.
  • A decision in principle (PDF) that staff issue when they are ready. It is never sent automatically.
  • Full application documents and an identity-check journey.
  • A staff calculator and exports, two-factor sign-in for staff, and an audit trail.

People stay in control

GoGoProp makes every lending decision. The portal gives the team the information and the workflow to make them faster and more consistently. Staff choose when to issue a decision in principle, and key actions are logged so the team can see who did what.

How the build ran

Phase 1 had a fixed scope, agreed up front. We built it in stages, and the GoGoProp team tested working software along the way rather than reviewing slides. The portal has been live for the GoGoProp team since September 2026, ahead of opening it to public borrowers.

Phase 1 ends at identity checks. Later stages of a loan, such as legal offers, drawdown and servicing, were deliberately left out so the first version could ship and be used.
